Throttle Calibration Guide (ADC Input Setup)

Step 1 — Connect to Your Kart

1. Turn OFF all other VESCs nearby.
   Prevents the app from connecting to the wrong one.
   
2. Power ON your kart / VESC.
   
3. Open the VESC Tool App and tap CONNECT.
   

Step 2 — Enter Input Setup

1. Go to the Start tab.
   
2. Tap Setup Input.
   
3. Wait for it to reconnect to your VESC.
   
4. Tap Next until you reach the Input Setup screen.
   
5. Select ADC Input.
   
6. Tap Next.
   

Step 3 — Calibrate the Throttle

1. Press the throttle a few times, then fully release it.

• The bar may NOT reach full range yet — this is normal before saving.
  

1. Tap Apply & Write.
   
2. Press the throttle again.
   

• This time, the bar should move through the full range.
  

1. Tap Next to continue.
   

Step 4 — Final Input Settings

1. Disable Safe Start.
   Safe Start causes issues on Crazy Carts and should be OFF.
   
2. Make sure Control Type = Current.
   (Only change this if you're setting up regen braking later.)
   
3. Tap Write Configuration to save the settings.
   (Nothing saves unless you press Write.)
