VESC APP REQUIRED FOR THIS GUIDE

Step 1 — Connect to Your Kart

1. Turn OFF all other VESCs nearby.
   Prevents connecting to the wrong one.
   
2. Power ON your kart / VESC.
   
3. Open the VESC Tool App.
   
4. Tap CONNECT and select your VESC.
   

Step 2 — Navigate to Hall Sensor Detection

1. Scroll to the Motor CFG tab at the top of the app.
   
2. Tap the three dots in the bottom-right corner.
   
3. Select “Detect FOC Hall Sensors.”

Step 3 — Run the Hall Sensor Detection

1. Lift the front of the kart off the ground —
   The wheel will spin during detection.
   
2. Tap Detect.
   
3. Wait for the Hall Table to appear.
   

• If it says Detection Failed, common causes include:
• Bad hall sensor wire
• Damaged or loose connector
• Bent pins
• Wrong motor type selected
  

1. Tap Apply and Close.
   

Tap WRITE to save the settings.(Nothing saves unless you press Write.)
